Which data we process

Server logs at our host

Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc., 440 N Barranca Ave #4133, Covina, CA 91723, USA. When a page is requested, Vercel processes technically necessary data such as the IP address, date and time, the page requested, the referrer and the browser type. This data is used to operate the website securely and reliably, for example to fend off attacks. Vercel processes it as our processor.

Cookieless usage statistics

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights. These services set no cookies and create no user profiles. They count page views, referring page, country, device type and loading times. To distinguish visits, a value is derived from request data that changes daily and does not allow any conclusions about you as a person. We only see aggregated figures.

Storage in your browser

The mock test stores your latest results in your browser’s local storage (localStorage) so that you can see your progress. This data does not leave your device, and we have no access to it. You can delete it at any time by clearing the website data in your browser.

Contact by email

If you email us, we process your details to answer your enquiry. We delete them as soon as they are no longer needed for this purpose, unless there is a legal obligation to retain them.

We only process data to provide the website, to operate it securely and improve it, and to answer enquiries. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interest in a secure and functioning service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, for enquiries, on answering them (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).
